Cultural Observatories and Cultural Information and Knowledge; Split, Croatia | 12-14 March 2008
(2008 03 07 14:13)The European Network of Cultural Administration Training Centers, ENCATC is organizing its first activities in the framework of the working group on “Cultural Observatories and Cultural Information and Knowledge” which was set up in 2007 with the intent to improve links between researchers, the academic sector and professionals in the field, supply cultural managers with useful information and discuss issues involved with the role and nature of cultural observatories, innovations in cultural information systems and skills and knowledge needed for cultural managers.
This ENCATC working group has organized a Round table on “Relationship between training programs, cultural observatories and research on cultural policy and management”, on March 12th 2008 and an ENCATC working meeting on March 13th 2008 in Split, Croatia, where interested individuals are welcome to participate.
After the symposium the participants will have the chance to be present at the International Conference on “Cultural Policy and decentralization in Croatia”, taking place on March 14th 2008 in the University of Economics in Split.
The idea is that the participants will actively contribute to the agenda of the seminar that will take place in July in Bilbao, Spain.
