EU sponsored courses in Haria on Lanzarote, Canarian Islands
(2009 12 18 22:01)
The first courses are: ‘The Foreign and Me - an intercultural dialog’ and 'Strategies of Non Knowledge - the myth of the return journey’.
The former course will be lead by Michael von Erlenbach. The seminar focuses on possible approaches towards strangeness. What is an adequate way for a society, for an artist or art teacher to approach the unknown, the foreign? Confronting oneself with “the strange” means mirroring it, tracing the outlines of one’s identity, and at the same time opening oneself towards this strangeness.
The latter will be lead by Bernhard Vierling. Its main objective is to encourage an intercultural exchange over the European issue of migration, whilst attempting to approach the solutions to this issue through creative and practical work.
All courses are sponsered by the EU programmes Grundvig and Comenius mobility, allowing participants to receive funding for the courses.
These courses are for:
• (art)-teachers
