New Mobility Programme for Artists, 2008-2009

Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes which are supported by the French Ministry for Culture and Communication, the Ministry for Youth and Sports, the European Commission, and the ministries and institutions of the partner countries aim to promote young artists and enable them to increase their mobility on the European artistic scene.
The new programme offers more than 50 residency opportunities in a diverse range of artistic fields between September 2008 and September 2009. There are three types of residency projects available. Open art programme encourages and promotes multi-disciplinary projects in creative sites while artshare focuses on ‘human relations’ and specific environments. Artventure gives artists from different field of expression an opportunity to combine their experiences with people from other sectors of activity.
Participants of the programme should be 18 to 35 years old and live in the programme’s member country. It is only possible to apply for one single residency which is outside applicant’s country of origin and residence.
The online applications must be submitted until 23 May 2008 by midnight (Brussels time).
