Cultures on my street’ - photo competition

The European Commission launched a photo initiative challenging participants to capture their vision of intercultural dialogue. All European residents regardless of age or origin can take part in the competition entering a maximum of three photos. One can draw inspiration from fields such as education, religion, migration, science, culture, minority groups or youth.
Photos should be submitted digitally uploaded through the online entry form in two formats:
1. a preview of the photo (255 x 369 pixel / 9 x 13 cm) uploaded in the online entry form in all common photo formats
2. the high resolution master copy (at least 5 mega pixels / 2480 x 3508 pixel or up to 7016 x 9933 pixel / 59,4 x 84,1 cm in 300dpi –do not extrapolate) uploaded with the online entry form in all common photo formats
The photos must have a title and can be submitted with a short explanation (maximum 150 characters.) It is allowed to edit the photo and manipulate with its colour and composition.
Great prizes are granted both for pictures selected by the jury and for public’s favourite picture chosen by online voters. The deadline to enter the competition is 30 June 2008. p
