European Culture Forum, 29-30 September 2009, Brussels

Brussels will host two big events this autumn: on 28 September the Culture Programme Conference; and on 29-30 September the European Culture Forum.

 

The Culture Program Conference will be an opportunity to present past and ongoing projects financed by Culture 2000 and the Culture Programme 2007-2013. Participants of the conference – cultural operators - will have a chance to exchange their experience and practises.

 

The next two days of the European Culture Forum 29-30 September will bring together more than 600 participants from cultural institutions and civil organisations from all over the European Union. They will debate on the European Agenda for Culture and its three strategic objectives: cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue; culture as a catalyst for creativity; and culture as a vital element in the EU's international relations.

 

The European Culture Forum will consist of debates, keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops.
