ARS BALTICA

Best practice in cultural cooperation

Since 1990/1991 ARS BALTICA supports cross-cultural cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region. The ARS BALTICA Secretariat gives assistance to project leaders who are, for example, looking for new project partners or who ask for information about funding opportunities. Special attention is given to those projects granted with the ARS BALTICA logo, a seal of quality given to projects that are regarded as best practice examples for cross-cultural cooperation around the Baltic Sea. Apply and be part of the network!

Twice a year (1 February and 1 August) project leaders are invited to apply for the ARS BALTICA logo, a well-known seal of quality for cultural projects from the Baltic Sea Region. The decision about the accreditation is taken by the ARS BALTICA Organising Committee. ARS BALTICA prioritizes projects with a high visibility of the cultural diversity of the Baltic Sea Region as well as projects that aim on the exchange of knowledge and experience and on the mobility of artists. In order to be able to apply for the accreditation, the project must include partners from at least three of the ARS BALTICA member states. Projects granted with the ARS BALTICA logo are actively supported and promoted by the network – on EU and even worldwide level.
