There are two deadlines a year for sending in the project application: 1 February and 1 August. The decision about granting a project with the ARS BALTICA logo is made by the ARS BALTICA Organising Committee. Twice a year, the members of the Committee come together to their internal meetings and decide – amongst other things – about the accreditation.

If you are interested in applying for the logo, please contact the ARS BALTICA Secretariat in order to get the application form and further information on the process. The filled out form has to be sent to the ARS BALTICA Secretariat either by email, fax or post. The Secretariat checks the application, keeps the contact to the project leaders and spreads the proposals to the ARS BALTICA Committee.

The ARS BALTICA Organising Committee decides about the accreditation with particular reference to the following aspects:

  • sustainability
  • mobility of artists exchange of knowledge and experience
  • networking
  • visibility of the cultural diversity of the Baltic Sea Region
  • presentation of the identity of the Baltic Sea Region
  • intercultural dialogue
  • best practice example regarding the thematic field and/ or the way of presentation

If you have any question concerning the application process, please, contact the ARS BALTICA Secretariat!

"ARS BALTICA is not a bureaucratic construction for political posturing, but a concept that stands for unconventional and committed collaboration in real cooperative projects." (Rainer Haarmann, former ARS BALTICA Coordinator, 1997)
