This year's Futur3 Festival takes place between 24 September and 2 October in Kiel (Northern Germany). The festival will focus on the present time with the festival's theme "No time for the future".
The vision of the Network for Revolutionary Impatience and the Futur 3 Festival is to establish a sustainable and accessible organizational and networking structure for cultural work in Kiel. A special focus lies on the thematization and communication of a culture of appreciation for artists and cultural workers. Through systematically expanded visibility and networking, long-term, fruitful fields of work and activity for Muthesius Artschool graduates and young female art and cultural actors in Kiel are sought.
This year's Futus 3 Festival will be opened on 24 September by the Network for Revolutionary Impatience with a realeas of the publications "FUTUR 3 - turn of the tide" and "Plan ins Chaos" (plan into chaos!). During the festival 45 young artists will present positions on the tension of the moment by readings, films, performances and guerilla jam actions. Dance peformances such as Frozen Eyes will deal with the interaction between fear and confidence, hope and paralysis, blockage and tension, as human emotions.
