Designers, artists and craftspeople are welcome to apply for the next edition of the 26th International Competition for the Design of Jewellery AMBER AMBERIF DESIGN AWARD 2022. The competition's aim is a design of an original, artistic piece of jewellery with amber, inspired by the topic of this year: Amber as a Reward!
The goal and the objective of the competition is to promote amber as a source of artistic expression. Only natural amber is permitted to be used. However, participants have a complete freedom of choosing other materials. The competition is open and free of charge for designers, artists and craftspeople. Designer and manufacturing teams are allowed, with no member of any team permitted to participate in the competition individually at the same time. Each participant may submit a maximum of two entries.
Prizes to be awarded are: the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk Prize: PLN 10,000 (2150 €), the Amber Prize awarded by the International Amber Association - 1 kg of Amber and the Silver Prize - 1 kg of Silver. Deadline for entries is 1 February 2022. The announcement of the results and the award presentation ceremony will take place at AMBERIF 2022 on 22-24 March 2022.
