Baltic Jazz Festival | 9-11 July

Baltic Jazz Festival is a meeting place for internationally renowned musicians and local talent who offer a balanced mix of classic jazz, blues and rock music. This year's festival will take place on 9-11 July.

At Baltic Jazz Festival, the different styles of classic jazz blend with other genres in the historical iron works surroundings of Dalsbruk. In a customary manner, the festival begins with a false start on Thursday (8 July) at the Kasnäs Pavilion, where Antti Sarpila Swing Band takes the stage. On Friday (9 July), the Archipelago Sea Jazz festival series is kicked off with an opening concert in the Park, where each festival will be represented on stage by the Archipelago Sea Jazz All Stars. The Author’s Discussion will be virtual this year with Sirpa Kähkönen, but there will be more live music in the Park with Kake & Co and Baltic Jazz Trio with guests. 

On Saturday (10 July), Moomin & Benny Törnroos will be performing for the youngest. During the afternoon, yvisitors ou will be able to enjoy The Best of Classic Jazz in Finland with the Classic Jazz All Stars Society, celebrate Charlie Parker’s 101st Anniversary withJukka Perko Trio and experience an “Afternoon in Paris” with Julia Korkman & Django Collective Helsinki. On Saturday night Agneta Falck and Blue Elefant will close this year's festival. The entire program can be found here.

Baltic Jazz 2021 will be held outdoors due to the pandemic situation, the amount of tickets is directly linked to government regulations for events. The concert venues are carefully selected to highlight the history and beauty of the old iron works village.
