Baltic Pitching Forum for Short-Film-Makers | Deadline 25 June 2024

The Baltic Pitching Forum (BPF) is to take place from October 8th-11th in Vilnius, Lithuania and calling for applicants to shape this event’s 12th edition since its launch in 2013. Directors and producers from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Croatia as a guest country this year, are invited to take part in these four days of development opportunities including expert networking, unique pitching training and a one-on-one guidance offer. Moreover, there will be further lectures, panels, presentations, and alumni showcases to attend and prizes to win.

Eligible candidates must have completed at least one short film and currently be in early development of a new fiction, animation, or hybrid project intended for international audiences, with a duration of up to 30 minutes. There is no submission fee but a participation fee (accommodation excluded or included) as well as travel costs to be covered.

As a project from the Baltic Sea Region, participant rights at the European Short Film Co-production Forum EURO CONNECTION can be won. Furthermore, one project has the chance to be awarded the Baltic Producers MEDIA Award initiated by the Creative Europe MEDIA Desks in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and endowed with EUR 1000 in prize money. Additional awards will be announced closer to the event.
