The Berlin-based association Climate Art Collection publishes and curates climate and nature-related artworks as art is a powerful medium with which experiences, events and feelings can be expressed and visualized.
Climate Art Collection aims to make the climate crisis and its impacts accessible and approachable to a global audience. With its continous open-call concept the collection also aims to be inclusive towards all kinds of artists and art formats, the organisers invite practitioners to contribute their own works through the digital submission channel. Selected artworks and the platform itself are constantly curated for external projects, exhibitions and campaigns in the international art scene, remotely and on site. The collection does already represent 1204artworks by 521 artists.
The project partners are C3: Codes, Creativity, Communities, jaaga.in, Zentrum für Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe, IKAROS Studio Berlin, and Goethe-Institut.
