Creative Connect Event by IHK Lübeck | February 2025 - Event Recap

On February 6, 2025, ARS BALTICA together with PA Culture took part in the Creative Connect event hosted by the Chamber of Industries and Commerce / IHK zu Lübeck in Lübeck, Germany, addressing the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) in Schleswig-Holstein.

This second edition of the annual meet-up organised by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce / IHK Lübeck inspired through talks and workshops, with plenty of room for exchange inbetween on the different challenges and opportunities, which especially the actors in Schleswig-Holstein are confronted with. ARS BALTICA and PA Culture, apart from being based in the region, also bring the Baltic Sea region outlook to the table in these kinds of events.

The event overall highlighted the importance of the CCI for society on multiple levels from economic to social aspects. In his keynote, prof. for ludology Jens Junge stressed how games and their rules are a vital part of building communication and creating room to image the world differently by thinking outside the box as the CCI do as well. What these creative approaches could entail was also shared by audio drama icon and lawyer Heikedine Körting with insights into her own personal and professional life. Further, there were workshops on different topics ranging from best practice presentations of projects to personal development and social media.

We thank the IHK Lübeck for organising this event granting opportunities to come together, develop oneself, project and network ideas.
