CROWD residencies

CROWD – international dance exchange is a collaborative network of dance organisations that offer residencies to support dance makers who engage with communities as part of their practice.

CROWD 2023 international dance exchange residency programme will support 10 dance artists to explore and develop their practice and understanding of community-engaged dance. The artists are from Finland, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands and the UK. The organisers will support the residents to build their professional network, exchange experience with others in the field and develop their practice. With the support of the CROWD 2023 network partner organisations, the ten artists will work in pairs and come together for two residencies. Find more information about the selected artists here. Regular updates and insight into the artists and their residencies will be shared via the crowd.dance website.

The CROWD network consists of the Goethe-Institut (worldwide), Arts Council England (UK), NRW KULTURsekretariat (DE), Nordic Culture Fund (nordic region), Creative Scotland (UK), Bora Bora – Dance and Visual Theatre (DK), Dance Limerick (IE), FABRIC – Dance4 and Dancexchange together (UK), Dansateliers (NL), Dansverkstaedid (IS), Pottporus (DE), TaikaBox (FI), TanzFaktur (DE) and The Work Room (UK).
