Forwarding the invitation of the BBK Schleswig-Holstein, we are happy to announce the opening of the exhibition 'Loss' / 'Verlust' next week at the Brunswiker Pavillon in Kiel, Germany. Artists and photographers in residence at Nordkolleg Rendsburg through ARS BALTICA Oksana Yushko and Arthur Bondar are participating and showing their work as guest artists.

Together with members of BBK-SH, two guest artists from Ukraine and Russia will present their works in the current themed exhibition "Loss" at the Brunswiker Pavilion.
The term "loss" is generally associated with negative emotions and often evokes emotional responses. However, it can also have positive aspects. Losses can lead to the development of unexpected mental strength and resilience. The diverse creative approaches and perspectives of the 20 participating artists—some of whom share very personal views on the theme of loss—give this exhibition its unique and compelling dynamic.

Gemeinsam mit Mitgliedern des BBK-SH zeigen in der aktuellen Themenausstellung „Verlust“ zwei Gäste aus der Ukraine und Russland ihre Werke im Brunswiker Pavillon. Der Begriff „Verlust“ ist in der Regel negativ besetzt und erzeugt daher oft emotional negative Reaktionen. Er kann aber auch durchaus positive Aspekte haben. Verluste können bewirken, dass sich ungeahnte mentale Kraft und Stärke entwickeln. Die vielfältigen kreativen Ansätze und unterschiedlichen Positionen der 20 teilnehmenden Künstler*innen, mit zum Teil sehr
persönlichen Sichtweisen auf das Thema Verlust, verleihen dieser Ausstellung einen ganz eigenen Spannungsbogen.
