interfilm - short film festival

interfilm is Berlin's largest and oldest short film festival. From 16 to 21 November the festival fill a wide variety of venues throughout Berlin with a diverse program ranging from political concerns to artistic experimentation.

The short film festival offers a program with highly-endowed competitions such as documentary competition, green film competition or the European Short Film Audience Award. Furthermore the visitors will be able to experience obscure special programs, regional focuses, film talks, workshops, concerts, parties and networking meetings as well as industry events. A large part of the program will also be offered online due to the pandemic situation as a supplement to the screenings taking place in the cinema. The streaming platform for alternative films SOONER will offer the interfilm programs as well as the programs of KUKI staggered to the actual festival start.

interfilm as a festival also includes KUKI, a festival for young audiences as well as a distribution, sales department and agency that will take place on 14 - 21 November. The festival also promotes short film as a medium in schools and push the short format as exciting content for TV, streaming and cinema.
