JazzBaltica 2021

JazzBaltica just started in Timmendorfer Strand in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. For four days, 37 events will take place until 27 June on the grounds around the Strandpark - live and with audience!

Around 1,000 tickets are still available for the 19 concerts at the "JazzLab" on the MaritimStage (indoor) at this year's JazzBaltica. Here, both young and established artists will open up new and unusual musical perspectives on jazz - including saxophonist Nicole Johänntgen, bassist Lisa Wulff, Das Kondensat and the Sophia Oster Quartet

The winner of this year's IB.SH JazzAward, trumpeter Christian Höhn, will perform with his band Bluff on Sunday, 27 June at 1.30 pm in the JazzLab on the MaritimStage (indoor). Some concerts will also take place in July, August and December. The whole program can be found here.

Admission to the JazzLab concerts will take longer than usual due to Corona-related restrictions.

JazzBaltica continuously promotes up-and-coming young artists. This includes artists from the local Schleswig-Holstein scene and highly talented young musicians from Scandinavia and the Baltic countries who have gained a definitive pulse in their careers by performing at the festival.
