ML in PL (Machine Learning in Poland) AI ART FESTIVAL 2024 is the 1st edition of an annual festival dedicated to explore the intersection of Art and Artificial Intelligence. To contribute to this event, following the slogan 'Future Will Be Better Tomorrow', visual artists can apply with a representation of their futuristic but realistic visions for the development, limits and capabilities of AI.
In this competition, AI models are showcased as powerful tools in the artistic process as well as individual perspectives on the future of AI are explored. The top 30 works will be presented at the exhibition happening at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw during the ML in PL AI Art Festival 2024 from October 31st to November 10th.
Among these works, the most thought—provoking, surprising and creative receive additional recognition: First place is awarded a prize endowed with PLN 5,000, second place receives PLN 3,000 and third PLN 1,000. Furthermore, a students’ prize of 1,000 PLN is awarded to the best work selected by the students of the Academy of Fine Arts. The awarding ceremony will take place at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
The judging criteria consists of the following: Relevance, Deep understanding of AI, Integration of AI in the creative process, Artistic and technical execution, Documentation and presentation.
