On The Move is organising the third Mobility Webinar on 7 March with the aim to explore the tensions between cultural mobility and parental responsibility in the EU and internationally.
A focus will be placed on how our ecosystem considers and manages parenthood, especially of women, at different stages of the creative value chain. By sharing more stories and information the organisers want to highlight how structural limitations, lack of knowledge and awareness, generate inequalities in accessing international work opportunities in the arts and cultural sector.
The webinar will be moderated by Yohann Floch who has been an external expert for public institutions and private foundations, and led or (co)authored European studies. The panelists are:
- Cassie Raine: co-founder and joint CEO of Parents and Carers In Performing Arts
- Emeka Udemba: founder of Project Space Lagos, Nigeria, an independent space for contemporary art
- Louise-Michèle You: co-founded l’Avant Courrier, a French organisation which collaborates with about 15 projects of all styles and aesthetic
