This network funding by the Nordic Culture Point is part of the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture, which strengthens artistic and cultural cooperation in the Nordic region and the Baltic countries. The programme focuses on increasing the exchange of knowledge, contacts and interest in Nordic and Baltic art and culture. Funding is available both for short-term and long-term networks.
Who can Apply?
The network must consist of partners from at least three Nordic and/or Baltic countries and may cover additional partners who do not operate in neither of the two. Funding is available for professional artists and cultural practitioners - individuals, groups, organisations or institutions (such as curators, producers, literary translators, cultural editors or researchers) in all forms of art and culture. Residency permits of the Nordic Region (Denmark, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, or Åland) or the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania) are required. Groups, organisations, and institutions that apply must be based in the Nordic or the Baltic countries.
What is Offered?
- Funding of up to EUR 20,000 for up to one year equaling 70% of the project's budget (or up to 85% including further funding with in the Nordic-Baltic-Mobility programme)
- Diversity of funded network collaboration, among them:
- a series of joint meetings, conferences, workshops, staff exchanges and joint training
- sharing resources and expertise for opinion-driven initiatives or co-operating on programming or structures for tours and the like
- the establishment of a collaborative platform which can later lead to larger international projects
