For the 2025/26 cycle, the German Federal Minister of Culture and Media, the state authorities for art funding and the Cultural Foundation of the German Federal States will again jointly award their renowned residency grants, as they have been doing for several years.
The grants for 2025/26 by the German Federal Minister of Culture and Media and the Cultural Foundation of the German Federal States are tailored towards highly skilled artists with German citizenship, but not necessarily living in Germany, in the disciplines of architecture, fine arts, literature and music. In addition to the offered stays in Rome, Olevano Romano, Venice and Paris, this year's grants include a three-month-residency for authors at an artist atelier in Balzers, Liechtenstein, from July to October 2024.
