Acting for Climate is looking for collaborations with artists, activists, photographers, bloggers and with whoever wish to contribute to the event in Saaremaa, Estonia on 20 and 21 August.
Acting for Climate (NO) is coming to Saaremaa (Estonia) in the framework of RIPPLES, organised in collaboration with the Estonian Contemporary Circus Development Centre and Big Wolf Company. RIPPLES is a contemporary circus performance about eco-grief and utopia, sailing across the Baltic Sea to inspire people to act for a more sustainable future. Acting for Climate joins forces withFestival Norpas (FI) and Hawila Project (DK) to bring people together for a transformative experience of a more sustainable today.
For the events in Estonia, the organisers are looking for collaborations with artists, activists, photographers, bloggers… and with whoever wish to contribute to the event in Saaremaa. Acting for Climate invites interested people to the performance as well as to the workshop that will follow, discussing creativity and sustainability in the Baltic Region and beyond. During our workshop, the organisers will share creative tools that can be used for own projects and further climate action.
The participation is an opportunity to network and could be the beginning of a collaboration. The organisires are offeing travel bursaries. The event takes place on 20 and 21 August.
The seed of Acting for Climate was planted in Norway in 2014, with a dream of using the profession as artists to inspire action for a sustainable future. Now it is a company creating and touring their own performances, and a growing network of people, artists and activists that nurture collaboration for sustainability.
