Open Call CPH:DOX

Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival (CHP:DOX) is looking for artists, designers, animators or illustrators in the intersection between film, digital media and art who want to create the new artwork for CPH:DOX 2023 and help shape the visual identity of the festival for 2023.

In 2023 CPH:DOX will be visible with a major outdoor campaign in urban spaces and selected venues in Copenhagen as well as a number of selected cities around the country, where the new artwork will be used together with CPH:DOX’s existing visual framework on posters, banners, etc. The selected artwork will also be rolled out on the festival’s digital platforms on Social Media where it will promote the festival’s extensive film programme of over 200 films, events and concerts.

The festival will take place between 15 and 26 March 2023, the organisers will start working on the visual campaign already after the summer break. A total of 3 posters (70 x 100 cm, 300 dpi) are to be created for the festival, the posters will work and perform together and separately and will support the festival’s ambition to focus on three particularly important themes: Art, Science and Society. The digital artwork must be able to function with text and graphics in interaction with CPH:DOX’s graphic framework.

The deadline for submitting applications is 22 August. More information can be found here.

CPH:DOX is one of the biggest documentary film festivals in the world.
