Aerowaves is a hub for dance discovery in Europe, host of their yearly festival ‘Spring Forward’ and the ‘Springback Academy’ alongside it. The next festival and academy will take place in Darmstadt, Mainz and Wiesbaden, Germany from 20-24 March 2024
OPEN CALL DANCE WRITERS
Aerowaves' Springback Academy offers up to 10 aspiring dance writers the opportunity to be mentored in the fundamentals of quality dance criticism in the action-packed environment of the annual ‘Spring Forward’ festival. The festival experience is includedin the experience.
Successful applicants will receive:
- mentorship
- accommodation and hospitality
- a contribution to travel costs
- a pass to the 'Spring Forward' festival
- the opportunity to participate in future Springback activities, including Springback Assemblies and contributing to Springback Magazine.
