All professional dancers, choreographers and companies in the field should keep an eye on Poland at the moment, where the dance showcase ‚Rollercoaster – collectors of sensation‘ will host a variety of dance performances from February until October 2024. ‘Space‘ is this year’s overarching motif.
DANCE SHOWCASE 'ROLLERCOASTER' IN POLAND (POL)
The project initiated by Cricoteka and Kraków Dance Theatre unites dance professionals in all of Europe, including the Baltic Sea region with Poland and Sweden, through the ‚Beyond Front@: bridging periphery‘ initiative.
Applicants may only live in one of the countries of its partners: Central Europe Dance Theatre (Hungary), Bunker (Slovenia), HIPP (Croatia), M-Studio (Romania), Vitlycke – Centre for Performing Arts (Sweden) and of course Poland.
The program provides fees and covers expenses for travel and accomodation. Thereby it facilitates a regional network amongst dancers and can present a wide range of contemporary dance styles along with the different countries of origin.
