Open Call Footprints

The programme for sustainable music across Europe FOOTPRINTS is looking for young and motivated artists willing to develop their artistic and entrepreneurial skills as well as develop their touring and networking capacity. FOOTPRINTS aims at reforming the music sector and introducing the values of social, economic and environmental responsibility to its activities.

The selected artists will get the opportunity to work with agents trained within the project and put in touch with FT partners and experts in order to benefit from their experience and specific knowledge.

Students or graduates of specialized academies living in Poland, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, France and having individual musical aspirations and interested in modern approach to music are welcome to apply until 30 April. Applicants should have an awareness and a need to expand their careers internationally, learn European music scenes and be willing to cooperate with their peers and experts from European countries.

50 participants will be selected to take part in the Intl Jazz Platform summer workshop in Lodz, Poland (July 17 – 22), 6 participants will be selected to take part in the FT international tours and mentoring programme. More information about the open call can be found here.

Footprints is a 4-year programme to support young European artists and agents in order to improve the skills and know-how of new professionals in the music sector. Footprints is a new collaborative project that aims at reforming the music sector and introducing the values of social, economic and environmental responsibility to its activities. Created on the initiative of the Periscope from Lyon (France) and Wytwórnia Foundation from Lodz (Poland), Footprints is a direct continuation of Jazz Connective project which has been implemented by 6 European countries within years 2018 – 2020.
