Open Call Footprints

The program for sustainable music across Europe FOOTPRINTS is looking for young and motivated bookers, poducers and agents willing to develop their experience on tours and European networks. FOOTPRINTS aims at reforming the music sector and introducing the values of social, economic and environmental responsibility to its activities.

The selected participants will be working with musicians applying to the project and put in touch with partners in order to benefit from their experience and specific expertise. The participants can be students or graduates of specialized academies, but also people working in the cultural field and wishing to develop a new activity. Participants need to be highly motivated and to show a desire to engage in the development of an entrepreneurial activity. They must have knowledge and skills in the music field and be able to work in autonomy.

Applicants must live in one of these countries: Poland, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, France.

Selected participants will take part in two sessions of training and workshops with professionals: Les Ateliers Footprints at Périscope that will take place from 2 to 6 May 2022 in France and International Jazz Platform from 10 to 14 June 2022 in Poland. All the elements of the program aim at introducing new skills and providing a better comprehension of social, ecological and economic features that are at stake in the future for the music industry. Together with 4 experienced European partners Bimhuis from Amsterdam, Druga Godba from Ljubljana, Austrian Music Export from Vienna and Oslo Jazz Festival from Oslo, Footprints plans to provide education, training and mentoring programmes for artists, agents and promoters.
