The IETM - International network for contemporary performing arts is launching a new programme called IETM Global Connect. The programme aims to make the IETM network more inclusive and diverse.
Performing arts professionals such as producers, artists, managers, presenters, etc. with at least 5 years of professional experience from all over the world are welcome to apply for the programme. The selected applicants will have the opportunity to enlarge their international connections, develop new skills and knowledge, actively share their perspectives and bring new insights back to their community.
In order to implement this the selected applicants will receive the IETM membership for 2021 - 2022, therefore getting free access to all IETM events. They will also get the opportunity to participate in the yearly IETM Global Connectors Gathering for which the travel costs will be covered.
The deadline for applications is 7 June, the selected applicants will be announced in the first week of September 2021. More information can be found here.
IETM - International network for contemporary performing arts is a network of over 500 performing arts organisations and individual members working in the contemporary performing arts worldwide: theatre, dance, circus, performance, interdisciplinary live art forms, new media. The aim of IETM is to create a more inclusive contemporary arts field by helping it members to diversify the organisations and work, and stimulating underrepresented performing arts professionals to join our activities and the network, regardless of their background, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, physical abilities, social conditions, working and employment status, age, career path and geographical location.
