Open Call IN PROCESS - Metamorphosis

HAUT is looking for performing artists and choreographers to collaborate at the residency Metamorphosis focusing on questions about how borders can be opened and how to raise self-awareness and at the same time acknowledge the importance of becoming with others.

Danish based performing arts makers will spend a week collaborating at the residency Metamorphosis with a non-European artist based outside of the European union. The selected Danish based artists will be working in the black box at Teater Zeppelin in Copenhagen. The organisers are interested in exploring how best support collaborations within the frame of one week can be offered, when the collaborators are located in different locations of the world.

The organisers offer a fee for 6 working days of DKK 9000 per artist (max. 5 persons); a fee for preparation, meeting participation and evaluation of DKK 1500 per artist (max. 2 persons) as well as  provide 3.000 DKK to be used as material or space renting in Denmark or abroad. Accommodation is not provided. The first production meeting will take place on 1 September, the residency pm 2-8 October. Applications can be submitted until the deadline of 11 August. The residency is organised by Haut and the CuntsCollective. CuntsCollective is an international queer-feminist performance collective, operating from Basque Country, Germany and Denmark. Established in 2018, the collective has been actively researching, playing, investigating, producing, and touring their work and residency program globally. HAUT is a performing arts organization founded in 2014 by a team of young producers, directors, choreographers and entrepreneurs with experience in all performing arts fields. Today, HAUT focuses on artistic development work and knowledge sharing.
