Open Call Museums of Impact

The project MOI! Museums of Impact will award 7 museum professionals from across Europe with a mobility grant of € 1000 to support their participation in a self-evaluation exercise in Riga, Latvia, from 23-25 November 2022.

The exercise will be run by the Latvian War Museum. The MOI Framework is designed in the form of modules, each containing a number of impact statements that are the core of the framework. Selected participants will join this session as outside observers to follow the process and gain an intimate understanding of what the framework is and how it works in a real-life situation. The mobility exercise aims to help the participants increase their competences as heritage professionals by getting to know this development tool and participate in its use.

Applications with statement of motivation with the organisation, the role and a CV can be submitted until 28 October. Find more information here.

The European cooperation project MOI! Museums of Impact helps museums to develop their capacity to meet the demands of a changing, more diverse, increasingly digital and ageing society, by supporting them in evaluating and actively refocusing their work in line with their own strengths and strategies. The framework is a joint effort of a partnership of 11 European museums, museum developers and public bodies, amongst them NEMO, led by the Finnish Heritage Agency.

TheNetwork of European Museum Organisations (NEMO) is an independent network of national museum organisations, museum networks, individual museums and museum-related businesses representing the museum community of the member states of the Council of Europe. Together, NEMO’s members speak for more than 30,000 museums in 40 countries across Europe.
