The NYX Hotel Warsaw is inviting artists to participate in the NYX Hotel – Art Lives Here competition with the prize consisting of a three-week artistic residency at their hotel located in the heart of Warsaw.
An art studio and content-related support from the jury and the competition ambassadors are available to the residents. The program will conclude with a vernissage of the works created by the participants. One of the works, chosen in an online poll, will be purchased by the hotel and displayed next to works by such artists as Anna Barlik, Norbert Delman, NeSpoon, Mariusz Tarkawian, Aleksandra Waliszewska or Mariusz Waras.
Three artists will be selected by the competition jury, one by voters participating in the poll on the hotel’s social media channels. Artists coming from Poland and its neighboring countries or the Baltic Region who employ media such as painting, drawing, sculpture or photography in their practice are welcome to apply for the competition.
Four artists will be selected for residencies on different dates: from 11-31 July 2022, from 18 July – 7 August 2022, from 1-21 August 2022 and from 15 August – 4 September 2022. Applications can be submitted until 3 July. More information can be found here.
