From May 2nd to May 20th, 2024, the Berliner Festspiele hosts its yearly international forum on everything theatre and performing arts. Their stipendy empowers artists in this sector and provides them through networking opportunities.
Theatertreffen: Scholarship for Theatre Professionals
The programme opens with each selected artist presenting themselves and their work, thus sparking the exchange between them. Additionally, the creative professionals can participate in the forum environment with expert workshops, open debates and excursions.
The scholarship for the Theatertreffen by the Berliner Festspiele grants a hotel room, the full or partial repay of travel costs and visa fees for international artists. This is made possible through the partners‘ contribution, meaning the support of the Goethe-Institut and the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.
