Open Call Urban Art

Station Narva is a music and city festival that will take place from 5 to 7 August 2021. The festival started an open call for an urban art competition in collaboration with the Narva Museum Art Gallary and the Narva Art Residency (NART).

All kinds of sculptures, installations, urban furniture, street art, outdoor exhibitions or other objects that enrich the public space and are defined by a spicific location in Narva (Estonia) are welcome to enter the competition. Art that can stay in place after the event are preferred and art students as well as professional artists are welcome to apply until 21 June.

The selected applicant will be awarded with 3.000 € towards the project's production costs, including the artis fee as well as the cost of materials. The transport costs, accommodation and catering will be covered for the selected applicant during the project installation and the festival.

The heart of this year’s festival is the Narva Museum in the historic 13th century Narva Castle, which will also open its doors for a “night at the museum” adventure. Concerts will also take place at the Art Club Ro-Ro.

More information about the open call can be found here.
