ARS BALTICA is happy to forward the invitation of EUSBSR Policy Areas Culture and Education to their online workshop on May 26, 2025 on the topic of senior engagement through culture and creativity. We are especially proud to see BSR Cultural Pearl 2025 Helsingborg as one of the showcases.
Dear friends of the Baltic Sea cooperation,
We are pleased to invite you to an upcoming online workshop on culture, creativity and integration of older people, taking place on May 26 at 14:30 CEST. The session will last approximately one hour and will be held via Teams.
This workshop builds upon the "Culture X Integration" event held on October 29, 2024, in Visby during the EUSBSR Annual Forum. You can read a summary of that event here.
Our goal is to initiate the formation of a group of stakeholders as a transnational platform for exchange and collaboration on social integration through cultural and creative means. While last year’s focus was on integrating individuals with a migrant background, this year we aim to broaden the scope to include diverse social groups, with a particular focus on older people.
The workshop will feature three inspiring showcases:
- Art of Belonging – presented by Lara Sanna, Lund University
- Culture on prescription (COPE) Project – presented by Jana Eckert, ISIS Institute for social infrastructure
- History Comes Alive – presented by Charlotte Alheim, Helsingborg (BSR Cultural Pearl 2025)
It aims to explore and showcase cultural and creative approaches that support inclusion, participation and a stronger sense of belonging for older individuals.
We look forward to your participation in this meaningful exchange.
