ARS BALTICA, PA Culture and a third to be confirmed partner as well as PA Culture and PA Education are hosting workshops during the EUSBSR Annual Forum and invite you to participate. The Forum is taking place from October 30th to October 31st in Visby on the island of Gotland in Sweden, with the Engagement Day as an optional side event on October 29th for those seeking an introduction to the Strategy.
During the Engagement Day on October 29th, ARS BALTICA, PA Culture and a to be confirmed third partner are hosting a workshop on the Power of Art & Creativity to Connect and Engage. The workshop aims to foster collaboration and exchange among cultural organisations, local authorities and practitioners in the Baltic Sea region with international good practices and the participants' individual experiences as a starting point for future-oriented discussions.
During the Forum itself, on October 31st, 2024, the workshop Culture X Integration is taking place, which PA Culture is organizing together with PA Education. The workshop not only covers different perspectives on the overlaps between culture and integration, but also reflects on the different aspects of culture itself. By this, the expanse of the conceptual term “culture” is outlined and how it can be turned into a strength when using culture and cultural activities in the context of other social issues. This will be illustrated with three roundtables, each of which is organised by one of three showcases: Integration into culture, Integration through culture and place-making as well as Cultural exchange and integration of skills.
