Pre-forum Webinars ahead of the 2025 Cultural Mobility Forum | 19 March 2025 onwards

In the lead-up to the 2025 edition of On the Move’s Cultural Mobility Forum from April 29-30, a series of Pre-forum Webinars will explore the international circulation of young and emerging arts professionals. These discussions will help shape the forum’s programme while addressing key challenges and policy recommendations for more sustainable cultural ecosystems.

The first webinar within this series is on the topic 'European Platforms for the Promotion of Emerging Artists'. This upcoming session on March 19, 11:00 to 12:30 CET online via Zoom, will spotlight Riga-based members of Creative Europe-funded platforms supporting emerging artists. Are these platforms effectively responding to shifts in the creative value chain and Europe’s evolving cultural landscape? Panelists will examine their impact, challenges, and ways to enhance their reach and effectiveness.

The discussion will feature:

  • Iveta Gabaliņa (FUTURES – European photography platform)
  • Odrija Kalve (Circus Next – Contemporary circus network)
  • Efe Duyan (Versopolis – European Poetry Festivals Network)
  • Dina Suhanova (LINA – European Architecture Platform)

Moderator: Yohann Floch (Director of Operations, On the Move)
Rapporteur: Clara Passarinho (Portuguese performer)

A young expert will also provide fresh insights and key takeaways.
