The 1st BSR Cultural Pearls Culture For Resilience Forum

Last week, ARS BALTICA (as project partner) attended the BSR Cultural Pearls project's first Culture for Resilience Forum in Jakobstad / Pietarsaari, Finland, one of the BSR Cultural Pearls 2024.

The Culture for Resilience Forum is part of the BSR Cultural Pearls project, co-funded by the EU’s Interreg BSR programme. The project, implemented by a consortium of 12 partner organizations, aims to strengthen social resilience in Baltic Sea Region municipalities by harnessing the potential of local assets of culture and creativity.

Multifaceted discussions on the power of culture in fostering social resilience took place following the diverse input given within workshops, key notes, excursions and continued during meals and break time. What an inspiring event to experience, we thank all our partners, Pearls, speakers and participants for shaping it!

Read more about and get further visual impressions of the forum on the project's website in the News section or in the review by lead partner Council of the Baltic Sea States.

And remember to apply to become a BSR Cultural Pearl 2025 with the deadline approaching on 24 May 2024. We look forward to all your applications! More information on the process and overall project is found here.
