Today, Interreg Europe launched its third call for proposals focusing on interregional cooperation projects. Policy-relevant organisations from different countries in Europe are encouraged to work together on a common regional development issue.
Within the scope of the EU’s cohesion policy and aiming for ‘a better cooperation governance’, Interreg Europe covers a wide range of regional development topics fostering innovation, sustainability and inclusion. Following this notion, 80% of the Interreg funds budget covers topics under the following Policy Objectives 1, 2 and 4: ‘A smarter Europe’; ‘A greener Europe’; ‘A more social Europe’.
