Water connects us, but culture unites us
The project Baltic Sea Region Cultural Pearls aims to connect cities, people and cultural actors in the region and strengthen the regional identity while promoting cultural diversity. A further aim is to enable smaller cities and regions to increase their social resilience and maintain the quality of life with local assets in an innovative way. The partnership will develop a Cultural and social resilience uptake programme by offering tools specifically designed to help municipalities develop a tailored culture and resilience action plan and a peer-mentoring programme to support municipalities in implementing the plans. The project will showcase selected cities and regions across the Baltic Sea Region through the BSR Cultural Pearls Award with wide communication activities. The project is co-funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region.
