It brings together cultural and creative professionals from across the Baltic Sea Region.
Why Attend?
This year's conference explores the cross-sectoral power of culture and innovation, with a strong focus on developing creative skills that drive real-world impact.
Our Skill Exploring Sessions - Part 1:
The conference grants you the opportunity to explore CCI Skills that shape tomorrow in four sessions, of which you can contribute to two. Let us present the first part of the selection to choose from:
SESSION 1: Skills X Arts and Technology
Anastasia Lemberg-Lvova – founder and executive director of De Structura, a contemporary art platform launched in 2021 to empower emerging art professionals and foster cross-sector collaboration. Under her leadership, De Structura has supported projects at the intersection of arts, science, technology, and innovation, including a 2022 forum in Estonia that brought together 100 young European art professionals to drive collaborative initiatives and report on the state of the arts.
Anastasia, also an accomplished visual artist, brings her vision of art as both expression and a tool for structural change. In Tallinn, she will lead interactive sessions exploring:
- How can cultural organisations, artists, and innovators engage meaningfully with technology, healthcare, and public institutions?
- What skills are needed for culture to create lasting impact across sectors?
- These sessions are hosted by De Structura in collaboration with partners Arteconomy (Belgium) and Tampere Intercultural Art (Finland)
SESSION 2: Skills X Survival
Marcin Piotrowski – sociologist, cultural animator, and place marketing specialist as well as president of the Folkowisko Association, founder of the Folkowisko Humanitarian Foundation and co-founder of the Responsible Festivals network. Further, he is county councilor in Lubaczów, chair of the Promotion, Culture, and Tourism Committee of the Lubaczów County Council and also is an expert in branding for cities, regions and tourist destinations. He works mainly in underdeveloped, rural areas, specializing in NGO collaboration, promotion, and fundraising strategies. Following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, he immediately mobilized humanitarian aid efforts, applying his leadership and event organization experience.
Apart from holding an inspiring keynote in Tallinn, Marcin Piotrowski will host sessions based on his diverse experience at the intersection of culture and crisis management:
- What skills and tools do cultural operators need to navigate and respond to contemporary global and local crises?
- What potential does the cultural sector hold as a space for humanitarian aid, solidarity, and civil defence?
